The New Firefly Southwest- The Excitement Grows

Firefly Southwest Las Vegas Grand Opening

Firefly Opens Southwest Las Vegas Location

The original Firefly opened its doors more than fifteen years ago. Since then, it has been a Las Vegas staple for locals and tourists alike due to its proximity to The Strip and amazing tapas menu. Now, we’re opening a much-awaited second location in Southwest Las Vegas. This new location will be geared towards our local tapa lovers and will have a much more intimate setting. If you’re excited about the new Firefly Southwest, good! So are we. We can’t wait to be part of the southwest restaurant community. But until then, let’s talk about some of the reasons it will be your go-to hang out and dine-out spot.

New Firefly Tapas Location

New Look

Firefly* is known for its deep red hues and Spanish artwork. But, the new Firefly* Southwest will have a fresh modern take on Spanish flair with deep greens and rose colors. The unique tones will set the tone for a cozy upscale dining experience.

Same Great Food

Don’t worry, the food you know and love will still be on the menu. It will be on a slightly smaller scale though. The overall menu will be downsized to showcase the best of the best. However, owner and executive chef John Simmons does have some surprises up his sleeve. You won’t want to miss the special dishes he’s created just for this location.

Unique Wines and Cocktails

We’ve always been recognized for our extensive wine list that includes wines from all over the world. The west side location will still have a great wine list, but it will focus specifically on wines from Spain. “I really want to focus on Spanish wine for this location, there are so many great wines from that region that pair perfectly with our menu,” says Carlos Corral, Firefly operations manager. If you love trying new wines by the glass, you’re in luck- the SW location will feature 10-12 wines by the glass. More options to pair your tapas with, right?

So, now that you have a little teaser of what’s to come, what are you most excited for? The wine, the new decor, creative new menu items, or the killer existing menu? You tell us. We love to hear from our loyal customers.
