How to Make Sangria – Our Recipe

Our Sangria Recipe has been the talk of the town since we opened in 2003 and customers have been asking for our recipe for years. While we can’t give you our “super secret” sangria recipe (sorry we teased you a bit with the headline), we can, however, give you an amazing recipe for sangria you can make at home!

At Firefly we have a few different kinds of sangria like red, white and sparkling. The most popular is definitely red, so that’s the recipe we are sharing with you.

We also use fresh seasonal fruits, so we suggest you do the same. See what fruits are in season and use those to impress your friends with this sangria at your next party or get together.

You might be thinking, “what is sangria”? Or, “How do I know if I like it”? Well, if you like red wine or sweet drinks you will most likely love sangria. The better questions to ask might be, “who doesn’t like sangria?” and “what’s wrong with them”. Ok, we’re kidding a little on that second one, maybe.

Either way, this sangria recipe happens to be super simple and it won’t break the bank. But, if you prefer to come in and avoid the hassle of dirtying any dishes. Don’t worry we’ve got a seat just for you at the bar.

Spring Sangria Recipe

• 1 bottle of your favorite Tempranillo

• 1/2 cup brandy

• 1 cup seasonal fruit (chopped and mixed together)

• sugar to taste

• extra fruit for garnish

Directions:

Mix Tempranillo, brandy, sugar, and fruit in a large pitcher and refrigerate overnight. Next, serve over ice with friends and family.
